Currently in ENG1D we are reading a book called “Ship Breaker.” At the end of chapter 8 the storm had ended and Nailer and Pima had just found a wrecked clipper ship and a live passenger.
I predict that in chapter 9 Nailer and Pima will rescue the girl, and hide her on the beach until she has recovered from her injuries caused by the ship wreck. I think that Pima and Nailer will care for the girl because, although they would like the scavenge they feel that “The Fates” will punish them for letting her die. However, I feel that once the girl recovers she disown the ship breakers and claim her ships goods for herself and live on her broken ship until she can return to where she came from.
